Ground refers to the universal concept of stability.  As a noun, ground refers to objects that stabilize.  As a verb, ground refers to the process of connecting with a stable object.

Attachment refers to the universal concept of love. Attachment describes the primal and involuntary sense of connection with others or with objects when in close proximity.  Default attachment occurs early in childhood to regulate feelings of detachment and to compensate for a low nurturant or neglectful primary caregiver.
